Fantasy MVP: Michael Vick
Runners Up:
2. Arian Foster
3. Peyton Manning
4. Aaron Rodgers
Fantasy Goat: Randy Moss
Runners Up: (line forms here)
2. Shonn Greene
3. Ryan Mathews
4. DeAngelo Williams
5. Brandon Marshall
6. Steve Smith (take your pick)
7. Beanie Wells
Some of you might include Ryan Grant, but the poor guy got hurt in the first game of the season so following my own tradition, I don't blame a guy if he is unexpectedly hurt and can't play. The top 4 guys on the goat list were concensus first round picks who killed you if you picked them (which is why I said I was lucky in my earlier post). If you had 2 of these guys and survived, you deserve a medal. DeAngelo is a free agent according to my info, so believe me, next year's fantasy draft (if we have one) should very interesting when it come to Williams and Stewart. Of this year's goats, only Marshall and Mathews actually showed signs of life by season's end, so they may be bargains in next year's draft.
Waiver Wire Wonder
Well this was a LOT tougher than you might think. Honestly, you could have fielded an all-star team from the waiver wire this year, a development I do NOT applaud: Michael Vick (QB1), Brandon Lloyd (WR2), Stevie Johnson (WR10), Peyton Hillis (RB4), Mercedes Lewis (TE4), etc., etc. None of these guys was drafted in NHNP. For the sake of not turning this into the Michael Vick show, let's award this one to Peyton Hillis.

Next year may really be the first year that I wait on RBs, but only because the position looks to be deep for the first time in 4 or 5 years. Out side of the top 10, I'm having trouble being convinced about any one of these guys compared to the other.

Top Quarterbacks in '11:
1. Aaron Rodgers (Packers)
2. Peyton Manning (Colts)
3. Tom Brady (Patriots)
4. Drew Brees (Saints)
5. Philip Rivers (Chargers)

8. Michael Vick (Eagles)
9. Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers)
10. Eli Manning (Giants)
I have to note here, that Vick is probably under-ranked. When I checked the stats to see how he did in the second half of the season (you know, when everybody "figured him out"), it turned out that his consistency and scoring were even BETTER than in the first half of the season. I'm looking for people to remember the Eagles poor overall performance and allow Vick to drop to bargain status where I can snatch him up for a song.

See you in the summer!
